35 indicted in Atlanta schools; Waiting for Cincinnati's

Today's NYT has a fabulous piece on the indictment of the former superintendent of the Atlanta School System and 34 other educators for systematic fraud in reporting test scores.  Read it here.

In Cincinnati, State Auditor Yost showed similar (although as yet not as outrageous) manipulation of test scores in the Cincinnati Public Schools, and the systematic abuse of taxpayer resources for campaign purposes.

And yet Superintendent Mary Ronan still is the head of the broken system.

We hope similar indictments soon come to Cincinnati.
