Joe Scarborough points out that all the doom and gloom surrounding the Sequester means that somehow, the 1 penny per dollar that is being "cut" in the Sequester must be the most effective penny ever spent.
Somehow this one penny makes our meat safe and cheap, provides hot meals to seniors, protects us from terrorists and so much more. Seemingly everything good that government does is funded with this one penny.
How about this for a deal: We'll forgo cutting that one all powerful penny if we can cut the other wasteful 99.
