Probably not the best decision....

On March 28, Mayor Mark Mallory held his second of two famous "Pink Slip" press conferences.  There, once again, this time with five Council members at his side, he threatened the jobs of 300 Cincinnati policemen and firefighters if voters had the temerity to place on the ballot a referendum on the Parking Plot.

As we have documented previously, those press events drove petition signers and volunteers to tremendous numbers, as not only did no one believe the Mayor, they were angered at his attempts to intimidate them.

And what we learned today is that while Mayor Mark Mallory was issuing those threats, he was giving double-digit salary increases to his City staff.  Outrageous.  Fox 19 has it here.
