The bitter end of the welfare state

It has all come full circle when one of the leading voices for liberalism in this nation, Rolling Stone magazine, correctly points out, essentially, that the bitter end for liberalism is that they have run out of money for their welfare state programs, such that they have to sell the assets of the welfare state to continue to fund it.

Of course, this was the woman who planned on turning the Carew Tower into residential condominiums without so much as speaking to the owner of the building about it.
