In 2009 and 2011, the non-incumbents willing to take on the disastrous policies of Mayor Mallory, especially the Streetcar, were virtually none, except Dr. Brad Wenstrup who was alone in endorsing the anti-streetcar initiative.
Contrast that with today's dramatic press event in which three incumbents and six non-incumbents are denouncing the Parking Plot. This includes endorsed Democrats and the Chairman of the Charter Committee, Kevin Flynn.
Once again, Amy Murray is taking the lead on this important issue, as she has since the beginning. Her term on Council has led her to a deep understanding of these issues.
