For a City on its knees both in debt and seeking monies for new capital projects it can't afford, it appears to be an irresistible temptation, but also a deadly one for our City.
But, the citizens are mere pawns in this debate, as no one has thought to inform them of the details of the Mallory/Dohoney/Qualls plan. Less than 24 hours before the hearing, we have not been informed of the details of the plan, relatively par for the course for this super-secretive City administration.
But tomorrow, presumably we will learn the details. the good, the bad and the ugly.
And there will concurrently be hearings on the plan, at 6 PM Monday and 6 PM Wednesday. City Hall. Be there if you want to learn the details and be heard.
