The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that Cincinnati Dems intend to appoint Pamula Thomas to fill the seat her husband is expected to step down from. This is expected to make it easier for Mrs. Thomas to retain that seat in November.
Voters will remember Mrs. Thomas as the Democrats candidate for Clerk of Courts in 2012 and also as one of the key players in the 2010 election scandal "Ice Cream for Votes" - wherein CPS students were bussed to the polls and given Democrat sample ballots before being taken for ice-cream.
That says just about everything you need to know about the state of the Democrats in Hamilton County.
We wonder, will Mary Ronan be their candidate for Mayor in four years?
