For Those of You Wondering Why Boehner Said "Don't Spike the Ball"

Congresswoman Schmidt has, for 7 years now, been Southwest Ohio's national embarrassment.  We are proud of our efforts and grateful to the voters of the 2nd District for the fact that her days in Congress are coming to a close.

Before the Obamacare ruling came out, Speaker Boehner asked Republicans not to "spike the ball" should the ruling come out against Obamacare.  There were some on the right who felt he shouldn't have done that, that if Obamacare were ruled Unconstitutional, celebrations should be unrestrained

While we have certainly taken part in full-throttle celebrations in the past (most notably on March 6 of this year), we understood his position.  And now the wisdom of Boehner's advice is available in full technicolor.

Ladies, and Gentlemen, we present to you, Jean Schmidt, laughingstock.

  1. This seems like a good time to note that I campaigned for Jean Schmidt this year and I'm proud of it. Sister Schmidt represents me well. I will campaign for Jean Schmidt again in 2014 as we take back our seat from that MAN Brad Wenstrup.

  2. Thank Christ this woman is gone. What an abject, disgusting embarrassment.
