It's as if COAST's Board of Directors was just given $2.7 million to play with in the primary elections, but better (we'd have blown it all defeating the evil Jean Schmidt).
Today's Washington Post delves into the mind of Leo Linbeck III, the brains behind the Super PAC Campaign for Primary Accountability that has bagged three incumbents, has targeted corrupt Charlie Rangel in New York, and has upended the political establishment in D.C.
Attacked as "that anarchist PAC from Texas" (as if there's something wrong with that!) by democrat Representative Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), "a right-wing tea party super PAC" (as if there's something wrong with that!) by Representative Charlie Rangel (D-NY) and “another liberal super PAC” (umm, there would be something wrong with that if it were remotely true!) by Representative Don Manzullo (R-IL), the CPA has put fear into the hearts of formerly insulated congressional incumbents, insulated from their own voters!
CPA to the rescue! Many more years of success to them!
