Mitch Daniels: government 'works better' without public-sector unions

Bringing focus to the battle being waged in statehouses across the nation, today Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels declared that government 'works better' without public-sector unions.

Daniels, in an interview on FoxNews Sunday today, suggested abolishing public sector unions entirely.  From the show:
"I think the message is that, first of all, voters are seeing the fundamental unfairness of government becoming its own special interest group, sitting on both sides of the table," he said.
