  1. Stephan Louis said it best at the debate on Thursday night which he clearly won:

"Having a streetcar is like having an abortion without discussing the pregnancy first."

Stand with the NAACP and COAST to abort the streetcar like you would an unwanted pregnancy! Vot Yes on Nine to abort the streetcar!

  2. This account of the debate tells of a very different outcome:

"Following the reading, a vote was held. "All those in favor, please raise your hands." said Prof. Grundy. A sole hand belonging to Mark Miller, treasurer of the local special interest group COAST, rose amongst the crowd. "All those opposed, please raise your hands." An overwhelming majority then trumped the single "yes" vote, ending the debate with the audience in favor of voting "No on 9.""

  5. You guys are so damned afraid of your own plan that you have to run away from it. HAHAHAHA

The streetcar is for YP snob losers. A YES vote on Issue nine stops the streetcar. (Just look at the sign).

Even the progressors are to emmbarrassed to support their streetcar boondoggle plan.

Thanks for proving my point Provost!

Wow, the irony goes right over his head.

Calling supporters losers and comparing the streetcar to abortion, this is what the Yes on 9 side has come to?

  7. Right over my head? You mean right over my head like the streetcar is trying to go over all of our heads.

Face it Gordon, you and your loser snob friends know nothing about this city. You and your precious elected officials are not capable of looking our for the citizens like Chris Finney has.

It is right and just to compare the streetcar to an abortion. You get an abortion after realizing you've made a bad decision then it comes time to kill the life inside of you, just like Issue 9 will kill the streetcar plan and all the "life" and "progress" it will bring to this city.

Abort the streetcar, vote YES on 9!

  8. Gordon,
This is the REAL Bris Chortz. I didn't post the abortion comments. You can see from the blogger icon that we're two different people.

Now, back to the issue. Streetcar supporters like the Provost telling people that a NO vote on 9 kills the streetcar is an outright lie. Don't you see the irony in that? Lying to hide the worst part of their plan because they know the voters hate it - is that what the No on 9 side has come to?

  9. Hey Bris, dumbass, he was making a joke. Obviously you didn't get it.

Speaking of lies how about Stephan Louis and Jason Gloyd, they still can't seem to get those numbers on the cost of the Transit Center right.

  10. "Streetcar supporters like the Provost telling people that a NO vote on 9 kills the streetcar is an outright lie."

Bris, take time to read. The Provost said: "Support the streetcar, vote YES ON ISSUE 9!"

Which was an ironic, seemingly joking response to the anon poster who said:
"Stop the Streetcar Vote NO on issue nine"

    Vote Yes on Issue 9!

  12. This is the real Provost, check the id's. Enough of this false identity crap. All of you need to grow up and vote no on 9.

  13. If you're going out speaking against a Trolley, you're deceiving people. The only person talking about a trolley is Charlie Winburn. Well, and your signs which show a rubber tired trolley like bus, but that's all you have to stand on.

Of course, Issue 9, as you well know, is NOT solely about streetcars.

You purposely made it about all passenger rail transportation, and not just right of way expenditures, but even improvements. And that language very plainly includes something as simple as the zoo's train (carries passengers, zoo overseen by city board - it's quaking like a duck, people - and will require an expensive ballot measure). And as you intended, it hopes to thwart federally and state fund passenger rail between Ohio's largest cities.

So please, don't keep telling your lies to voters that you're trying to stop Trolleys.

Vote No on 9, keep Cincinnati moving forward.
