It is right and just to compare the streetcar to an abortion. You get an abortion after realizing you've made a bad decision then it comes time to kill the life inside of you, just like Issue 9 will kill the streetcar plan and all the "life" and "progress" it will bring to this city.

Now, back to the issue. Streetcar supporters like the Provost telling people that a NO vote on 9 kills the streetcar is an outright lie. Don't you see the irony in that? Lying to hide the worst part of their plan because they know the voters hate it - is that what the No on 9 side has come to?

ReplyDeleteIf you're going out speaking against a Trolley, you're deceiving people. The only person talking about a trolley is Charlie Winburn. Well, and your signs which show a rubber tired trolley like bus, but that's all you have to stand on.
ReplyDeleteOf course, Issue 9, as you well know, is NOT solely about streetcars.
You purposely made it about all passenger rail transportation, and not just right of way expenditures, but even improvements. And that language very plainly includes something as simple as the zoo's train (carries passengers, zoo overseen by city board - it's quaking like a duck, people - and will require an expensive ballot measure). And as you intended, it hopes to thwart federally and state fund passenger rail between Ohio's largest cities.
So please, don't keep telling your lies to voters that you're trying to stop Trolleys.
Vote No on 9, keep Cincinnati moving forward.
