Pam Thomas Pulls a Seelbach!

In the vote on an additional $17.4 Million (by no means the last "additional" funding this project will require), Cincinnati's newest Councilmember, Pamula Thomas voted "no" on the ordinance and "Yes" on the emergency.

Thus, just like Seelbach did with the Parking Plot, Pamula Thomas didn't want the money spent, but didn't want the rest of Cincinnati to have a say on the issue.

We ask the good Councilwoman, what is so pressing about this ordinance as to constitute an emergency?

When the time comes to ask ourselves what happened? How did the city end up in such a precarious position? Where is the money? Where are the people? Where are the businesses? Perhaps, just maybe the answer lies in all the abusive "emergencies" that Council passes without any thought.

Congratulations Ms. Thomas, you've truly distinguished yourself in your short time on council!

Yes, of course this is the reason for Cincinnati's problems. So simple. Why hasn't anyone ever thought of this before? Thank you.
