Wenstrup's first spending vote is a "No" on bloated Sandy aid bill

The new 2nd District Congressman Lt. Col. Dr. Brad Wenstrup joined veteran Congressman Steve Chabot and new Northern Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie in voting "No" on the $9.7 billion bill for Hurricane Sandy aid in Congress today.  Read about in the Enquirer here.

There were all sorts of problems with the Sandy aid bill, including the important
consideration that the bill failed to have offsetting spending cuts.  Amazingly, and embarrassingly, Congress will soon consider legislation giving another $51 billion in aid, and that bill contains obscene spending completely unrelated to the storm.
