Barry Horstman of the Enquirer and Cincinnati Councilman Christopher Smitherman appeared on WVXU's Impact Cincinnati program this morning. They provided wonderful insight into Cincinnati's pension hole and how the Streetcar project is exacerbating the problem.
Horstman notes that Cincinnati is alone in Ohio as the only municipality to have its own pension system rather than being part of the statewide PERS program.
