Clifton Town Meeting highlights dangers of privatizing parking meters

The Clifton Town Meeting, as reported here, has spoken out forcefully against the privatization of the City's parking meters.  Twice in the letter, the writer, Pete Schneider, highlights the voters' win against Red Light Cameras, and warns about changing the law enforcement function to a profit-based function.

Pretty much everything in this letter, this author agrees with in opposing the initiative.

Which means that this crazy Council will certainly approve it.
