Please join us Thursday night as conservatives take control of the Great American Sports Café in Montgomery at 6:30 PM to celebrate the holiday season, and our many successes in 2010..

Already announced as guests for the event are Ohio Auditor-Elect David Yost, County GOP Chairman Alex Triantafilou, Commissioner-elect Chris Monzel, and Dr. Brad Wenstrup. We will kick off the event with lite appetizers. We appreciate your efforts, so come and enjoy yourselves! There is no charge for this event, but it's buy your own food and beverages. 1. Glad to see you guys are supporting a good, local establishment this year and not the preferred bar of Cleveland Browns fans. :)

Despite differences in streetcar opinions, Happy and safe Holidays to all of you guys!

  2. ^Thanks Gordon,
We would like to sincerely wish all our hard working streetcar adversaries the warmest of holiday wishes and a happy and prosperous new year.

Your drinks are on me if you want to stop by the party.

  3. Have a nice holiday season Gordon. Two questions:
    - Where is this nefarious Cleveland Borwns fan bar?
    - Gordon's beer of choice? How about you Miller?

  4. Santa Chortz,

The Cleveland Browns fan bar is Slatts Pub in Blue Ash which is where I believe COAST had their holiday party last year. I interviewed Mark for a paper I wrote for school and was joking with him about it. It's where the Cincinnati chapter of the "Browns Backers" meet. I hate the Browns.

I don't really discriminate between beers, beer is beer and I'll drink what's on special depending on where I'm at. But if I have a choice - I LOVE Moerlin's Northern Liberties IPA and the Hudy Amber Lager is becoming a favorite of mine very quickly.

I'll pretty much drink any beer besides Natty.

  6. Huge fan of Hudy Amber Lager. So much flavor and it actually feels like a real beer in your mouth unlike some of the watered down crap sold these days. Love pretty much all the Moerlein brews too. Try a Morlein Emancipator with a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Heavenly.

  7. I'm more of a Bourbon guy. Wild Turkey 101 for mixin' or Woodford Reserve for sippin'.

For me, beer's something to drink after working around the house. Then my taste runs to Milwaukee's Best Ice. Beer snobs recoil at that, but it's honestly the best tasting brew I've found. Too bad no bars carry it.
